Our beginning
How we started.
We started Aspen Paw because the premium pet space was full of beautiful brands selling things our pets hated using. We tested everything on Bear (dog), Pip (dog) and Coco (cat). They're tough graders.
We started Aspen Paw as a side project — a few pieces designed for our own use, made by partners we trusted, sold direct without the typical retail markup. Friends asked where we got them. Then their friends. Within six months, the side project was the main thing.
Today we work with workshops in Australia, Vietnam, and Italy who care about their craft as much as we do. Solid materials, real construction, and the kind of small-batch attention to detail that's almost impossible to find at this price point.
We test everything in real homes — for months, not weeks — before we sell a single one. If it doesn't survive that, it doesn't make the range.
Behind the scenes

Our journey
Three years, slow growth.
Bear's first harness
Bear (35kg shepherd) had broken five harnesses in two years. We sketched a no-pull design that wouldn't break. Friends asked where we got it.
The cat range
Coco joined Bear and Pip. Suddenly we needed cat-friendly products. The slow-feed bowl was Coco's first contribution to the catalogue.
Full range launch
Beds, harnesses, bowls, toys, travel gear. Every piece tested by Bear, Pip, and Coco for three months minimum before we sell it.
What's next
Working on a small-pet line (rabbits, guinea pigs) and a sustainable food range. Newsletter for the early word.
